We Love Laguna Beach founder Jennifer Halbert shares the vision behind the magazine and her own journey from Florida to the shores of one of California's most beloved coastal towns.
Welcome to the inaugural issue of We Love Laguna Beach magazine. This publication is designed to serve locals, new residents and visitors alike by showcasing the entertainment, artists, restaurants, and organizations that make this community so extraordinary.
My own journey to Laguna Beach began with the eclectic and friendly people, the gorgeous art, the breathtaking beaches and the amazing properties. After relocating from Florida to Los Angeles in pursuit of an acting career, I pivoted toward real estate and became a Realtor at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. That path eventually led me here — to a community I am proud to call home and even prouder to celebrate through this publication.
My background spans marketing, graphic design, acting, and a communication degree emphasizing advertising and public relations. Those experiences converged into what you're reading now: a love letter to Laguna Beach in magazine form.
Community involvement is central to everything I do. I donate portions of my closed real estate transactions to The Charitable Foundation and participate in organizations including the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, Laguna Board of Realtors, PUP Laguna Beach, and Chabad of Laguna Beach. I also sponsor local events and enjoy creating abstract art, traveling, and spending time with my Pomeranian mix, Bitsy.
This magazine is a labor of love, and I hope it serves as a resource, an inspiration, and a reminder of just how special this little beach town truly is.
